Mount Gambier Blue Lake

Explore the picturesque Blue Lake

The Blue Lake occupies one of the craters of the extinct Mount Gambier volcano. From November to March each year, the lake’s sombre blue colour mysteriously changes to an intense deep turquoise blue.

Take in the spectacular sights of the lake from many viewing points along the lake’s 3.6km walking track – just a short walk from the town centre.
