Your adventure begins with a flight to the beautiful city of Adelaide. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of your day is at leisure.

❱ 1 night: Grosvenor Hotel or similar
Adelaide travellers will be met at home and transferred to the Central Bus Station to join the tour. Interstate travellers will be picked up from the Grosvenor Hotel.
We begin our journey to the beautiful Eyre Peninsula today with a stop at Port Wakefield for morning tea before continuing on to Port Augusta for a lunch break. We then head west, following the Lincoln Highway to the town of Whyalla, one of South Australia’s best kept secrets. The town is renowned for its dramatic events, stunning coastal & outback scenery.
❱ 1 night: Alexander Motel
After a cooked breakfast, we tour to Iron Knob where the first iron ore deposit was discovered. The town grew up between the two “sister” quarries and supplied Whyalla with ore for its steel & shipbuilding industry for many years.
We stop for morning tea before departing Iron Knob and travelling in a westerly direction along an old dirt road through sheep station country passing to Mt Ive Station. After a picnic lunch, here we take the station track to visit Lake Gairdner. This incredible Salt Lake is so large, it is visible from space!
We then travel down through old Buckleboo and take the Stringer Highway (another dirt track) to re-join the Eyre Highway. We then continue west through Kyancutta and arriving in Wudinna, the gateway to the Gawler Ranges. Indulge in a delicious dinner at your motel’s restaurant tonight.
❱ 1 night: Gawler Ranges Motel
After breakfast, we continue our tour travelling through the Gawler Ranges on our way to Streaky Bay then follow the coastline to Port Lincoln.
Explore the Gawler Ranges, an area that is virtually untouched since the beginning of time and one rarely visited by tourists due to the lack of accommodation & other facilities in its unspoilt wilderness. Hidden in the ranges are amazing rock formations filled with colour. Stunning boulders of granite towering above plains often filled with colourful vegetation and seasonal wildflowers. Rare yellow footed rock wallabies can be seen hopping around enjoying their natural environment during our journey.
We travel to Streaky Bay situated on a picturesque section of the Eyre Peninsular. After a refreshment stop, we continue following the coast to the township of Elliston where we stop for lunch at the Elliston Hotel.
After lunch, we continue to Port Lincoln for our overnight stay. This evening dinner served at the Hotel restaurant.
❱ 2 nights: Port Lincoln Hotel
This morning after breakfast, we join our wonderful Seafood Bay Adventure Cruise. We cruise the sheltered water of Boston Bay through the canals of the Lincoln Cove Marina. The journey takes us to Port Lincoln National Park, Boston Island. Here you will enjoy the heart-warming sight of Sea Lions playing in the waters and also views of Port Lincoln that can only be seen from the ocean. During the cruise we will enjoy seasonal seafood such as prawns, Mussels, Sashimi Tuna and Kingfish.
Later we return to Port Lincoln township. In the afternoon, a tour to the unique Koppio Smithy Museum is another great highlight for you to enjoy. The Koppio Smithy Museum is operated by the National Trust and features the original Blacksmith shop and two bedroom cottage. The one teacher schoolhouse also features early Aboriginal Artifacts. in addition to White Flat Post Office, reportedly the smallest in the State. An amazing collection of tractors and farm machinery once owned by the original Jericho Family is also on display.
This evening’s dinner will be served at our hotel restaurant.
This morning after an early breakfast we depart Port Lincoln to travel back to Adelaide via Port Augusta. At Tumby Bay, an opportunity to see some Silo Art featured on silos near Tumby Bay. We continue to Port Augusta for a lunch break before arriving late in the afternoon. On arrival, passengers will bet by their chauffeured car for transfers to their homes.
Stay the night on return to Adelaide and fly home the following day.
On our tour’s return to Adelaide, you will be taken to your hotel in the city centre. The next day, enjoy some time at leisure to explore Adelaide. Ask us about optional tours that are available today. Later, you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight.
