For those with limited time, experience the highlights of South Australia’s premier nature-based tourism destination, Kangaroo Island. As one of our most popular day tours, you will see all of the major attractions of Kangaroo Island.

Visit Seal Bay Conservation Park where you will be taken on a beach walk with an experienced park ranger to see Australian sea lions. Enjoy a delicious two course lunch at Vivonne Bay Bistro, set in a beautiful Australian bushland setting, followed by a visit to the Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, where you will see koalas relaxing in the trees.

Spend the afternoon at Flinders Chase National Park, walk around Remarkable Rocks and see playful long-nosed Fur Seals at Admirals Arch.


Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery & Lunch
Eucalytpus Oil is produced naturally from the Kangaroo Island Narrow-Leaf Mallee which is the dense multi-stemmed tree growing at the sides of the road. Eucalyptus oil has many uses, disinfectant, insect repellent, soothes bites and stings, decongestant, stain remover and cleaner. The traditional distilling processes to extract the eucalyptus oil from the leaves will be explained and you will be taken on a guided tour of the distillery. Visit the shop and see the many products using eucalyptus oil, which are available for purchase. Enjoy a freshly prepared Aussie barbecue lunch.

Seal Bay
Seal Bay is the home of the Australian sea lion and the third largest breeding colony in Australia. You will have the opportunity to see these creatures close-up, swimming in the surf or basking in the sand. Seal Bay is a conservation park and you will be taken down onto the beach by a Parks Interpretative Officer. Take your camera with you, as this is a unique opportunity to walk on the beach with these animals.

Raptor Domain – Birds of Prey Show
An awe-inspiring In-Flight Display of Australian Birds of Prey, Wedge Tailed Eagles, Kookaburras, Osprey, Sea Eagles, Australian Kestrels, Australian Hobby Falcons and different varieties of owls. Join Dave and Leeza Irwin and their wonderful presenters for an amazing interactive experience while the birds demonstrate their natural skills, adaptions and hunting techniques.

Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park
With flames on their doorstep and an entire town evacuated Sam Mitchell and some close family friends stayed and protected over 700 animals in their care. With over 150,000 hectares lost due the fires a large number of Koalas are being cared for here as they recover. The Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park will also provide you and opportunity to walk amongst kangaroos and wallabies and you can hand feed them.

  • Full day tour with expert commentary by a local driver / guide
  • Return journey to Kangaroo Island on the Sealink ferry
  • Pick up & drop off at selected locations in Adelaide

Tour departs at 6.45am daily year round.
Returns to Adelaide at approximately 10.40pm.

This tour is a full on 16 hour day, however, you do get good time to rest during your coach and ferry transfers.
