Spend a day exploring the city of Albany in Australia’s Southwest. Albany is Western Australia’s oldest colonial settlement, founded as a military outpost of New South Wales in 1826. For many years, it served as the main port for services between Britain & its Australian colonies. Today, it is a southern terminus for tourism in the state’s South West, a region renowned for its natural environment & preservation of heritage. The town also has a role in the ANZAC legend, being the last port of call for troopships departing Australia in the First World War.
Enjoy another day at sea aboard the Astor as you sail around the Western Australian coast.
Arrive in Perth’s port suburb of Fremantle this morning and disembark your cruise. You will be transferred to Perth Airport in time for your flight home.
